So it has good demand for this business. This Industry has long history and it can be setup with less investment. You require only low technology for manufacturing. Basically sticks are rolled by hands. If you can invest much money you can buy machines also. There are many different types of incense sticks used for different purposes or on different festive days.

FIRST OF ALL I STARTED WITH THE MATERIAL REQUIRED FOR AGARBATTI MAKING





(A) PREMIX-
powder that is used in making agarbatti premix is mixture of charcoal powder,jiggat,saw dust or wood power. 
use premix if you are new in industry.

 

(B)STICKS -

After forming paste from powder you need something that give support your paste to stand is sticks you have to you have to purchase.

(C) PERFUME - 

Perfumes - fragrance oils
Most used fragrance oils are (Perfumes)

• Patchouli
• Sandalwood
• Jasmine
• Rose
• Mogra

use to perfume your sticks flavour used according to market need.

(D) D.E.P  (DiEthyl Phthalate)-

use as solvent with perfume mix according to ratio given.

AFTER COLLECT ALL THE MATERIAL NOW IT IS TURN TO MAKE STICKS


FOLLOW THE FIRST PROCEDURE-

DOUGH:

MAKE DOUGH FROM THE PREMIX WITH WATER ADD 500ML (INCRESE IN SUMMER ,DECREASE IN WINTER ).

HAND ROLLING:-

PUT SMALL AMOUNT OF DOUGH AND ROLL IT WITH STICK TO MAKE RAW STICK.

1. ROLL WITH PRESSURE IT WILL AUTOMATECALLY SURROUNDED WITH STICKS .
2. AFTER MAKING STICKS PUT THEM IN SUNLIGHT FOR MAKING HIM DRY OR YOU CAN USE STAND

NOW YOU STICKS ARE DRY AFTER 7-8 HOURS READY FOR PERFUMING 

6.MAKE MIXTURE OF DEP AND PERFUME .

      DIP YOUR AGARBATTIS IN THE PERFUME.

AND YOUR AGARBATTIS ARE READY FOR MARKET.
